What you'll do

• Direct nursing services in accordance with regulations
• lead and develop nursing staff
• conduct daily rounds
• ensure appropriate staffing
• maintain survey readiness and oversee plans of correction
• ensure infection control, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance
• coordinate QAPI initiatives
• oversee resident assessments and care planning
• collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• oversee nursing staff recruitment, onboarding, education, and performance
• assist with the nursing budget and maintain clinical records and policies.

Why this role

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, an active Registered Nurse (RN) license, and current BLS certification; prior DON experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred.
