IT Project Engineer

Job overview

The IT Project Engineer role is onsite in Saginaw, MI, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and occasional schedule flexibility. Compensation is not specified. The role supports Heiden Technology Solutions' Professional Services team and its client projects. The engineer implements client IT solutions by coordinating project work, deploying and configuring equipment and network technology, and providing technical assistance. The role contributes to successful project delivery through schedule, budget, documentation, client communication, and technical alignment.

What you'll do

• Plan and prepare project work
• deliver, set up, and configure equipment
• execute maintenance windows and cutovers
• complete projects on schedule and budget
• document project status and technical work
• manage scope changes and service requests
• obtain vendor support as needed
• review proposals and assist with solution design
• support assigned service incidents and scheduled on-call rotation
• participate in onboarding projects and document core network infrastructure
• collaborate across project teams.
