The Store Manager – Kihei Thrift Store role is onsite in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii; pay is $19–$23 per hour. The Salvation Army’s retail department operates the thrift store and production floor, with store income supporting its broader operations. The manager leads store staff and volunteers, oversees daily production and sales goals, customer service, merchandise organization, scheduling, and store operations. The role also handles staff coaching and training, cash controls, safety, maintenance, inventory supplies, and customer and community relations; the posting requires work on Friday and Saturday.

What you'll do

• Direct thrift store and production-floor activities
• lead, coach, train, schedule, and supervise staff and volunteers
• meet production, sales, and income goals
• manage daily store operations, cash handling, and sales reporting
• maintain merchandise organization, cleanliness, safety, and supply inventory
• address customer complaints and communicate with the Maui County Coordinator / Kahului Corps Officer.
