Direct Support Professional (DSP) — Early Morning

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is onsite in Bloomfield, IA, supporting adults with disabilities in a home setting. Pay is $13–$16 per hour. First Resources Corp. is a nonprofit agency serving people with disabilities in Southeast Iowa. The DSP helps individuals start their day by supporting routines, meals, personal care, household tasks, errands, and activities. Accurate shift notes and required training support consistent, safe care.

What you'll do

• Support morning routines, meals, and personal care
• help with household tasks, errands, and activities
• keep clear, accurate notes for every shift
• complete required training, including medication administration training. Shifts run 6 a.m.–3 p.m. on a repeating two-week pattern: Monday and Friday in week one, then Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in week two.
