Senior Wellness and Fitness Class Instructor

The Senior Wellness and Fitness Class Instructor is an onsite, part-time opportunity in New Ulm, MN, paying $25–$35 per hour. Live 2 B Healthy leads wellness and fitness classes at senior living communities to help older adults stay active, independent, and engaged. The instructor leads supportive, non-strenuous classes and demonstrates exercises and modifications that help participants work on strength, balance, flexibility, mobility, endurance, and fall prevention. The schedule is approximately two to three classes per week, with each class lasting 30–45 minutes.

What you'll do

• Lead 30–45 minute senior fitness and wellness classes
• work with groups of older adults in an encouraging environment
• demonstrate simple exercises and modifications as needed
• help participants improve strength, balance, flexibility, and confidence
• create a supportive atmosphere.
