Activities Leader

Job overview

Compensation is $16–$17 per hour. The Activities Leader role is onsite in Hagerstown, MD. The role supports individualized activity care for residents at Hagerstown Nursing and Rehab, which aims to create caring communities for residents, staff, clients, and families.

What you'll do

• Lead individual and group activities on assigned units and in the community
• provide supplies and equipment
• assist with planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident-centered activities
• help arrange events, outings, and religious services
• escort residents
• maintain activity documentation
• coordinate plans with the activity director and other departments
• advocate for residents’ needs and preferences
• and supervise assigned volunteers. Some duties are described as possible or as assigned.
