Senior IT Network Engineer

The Senior IT Network Engineer role is hybrid in Boulder, CO; compensation is not specified. The position owns and supports Spire’s corporate and back-office network environment, working with Security, Infrastructure, Facilities, and other technical teams. The engineer designs, operates, and improves network services supporting offices, remote users, corporate services, and back-office systems. The role strengthens reliability and security, modernizes legacy services, and maintains disciplined documentation, monitoring, change management, and lifecycle practices; after-hours escalation or on-call support may be required for critical incidents.

What you'll do

• Own corporate network architecture, implementation, operation, and reliability
• configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, wireless, and cloud connectivity
• manage segmentation, remote access, and site-to-site connectivity
• maintain monitoring, documentation, automation, and lifecycle plans
• coordinate office network changes and vendor relationships
• participate in after-hours escalation or on-call support for critical incidents.
