Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer

The Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer role is onsite in Palm Bay, FL, supporting the Strategic Missions Division. Pay is $70–$80 per hour on W-2. The schedule is 9/80, with nine workdays in each 14-day period, totaling 80 hours and every other Friday off; the position is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity. The engineer designs and analyzes electronics for customer programs, including digital, power, analog, and mixed-signal circuit card assemblies. The role works with an integrated product team to meet project cost and schedule milestones and contributes to customer reviews through design, integration, and test activities.

What you'll do

• Perform circuit card assembly design using schematic capture, functional and block diagrams, and wiring diagrams
• design mixed-signal circuits with A/D, D/A, processors, I/O, and programmable logic
• follow digital design processes from requirements through integration and test
• design high-speed memory interfaces
• use schematic and layout tools
• generate independent digital CCA design solutions
• collaborate across engineering and technician teams
• meet project cost and schedule milestones
• support customer reviews.
