What you'll do

• Operate a truck with capacity greater than three tons, including tractor-trailer combinations
• transport and deliver steel products
• inspect the vehicle and safety equipment
• report defects, accidents, violations, or damage
• position the truck for loading and unloading
• secure cargo and inspect tie-down devices
• inspect material and maintain trip and incident paperwork
• follow pickup and delivery schedules.
