Collection Representative

Job overview

The Collection Representative is fully remote for residents of Wisconsin, Kansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina, or North Carolina. Compensation is $20 per hour during virtual training, then $17 per hour plus performance-based bonus or commission after training. The role supports consumers resolving past-due medical balances with dignity and professionalism. The representative handles inbound and outbound calls, negotiates payment arrangements, and documents account activity while meeting quality, compliance, and collection measures. The work helps consumers pursue practical payment solutions while supporting recovery goals and legal compliance.

What you'll do

• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls
• contact consumers about past-due balances and negotiate payment terms within guidelines
• meet quality, compliance, and collection metrics
• document account notes in real time
• use scripts and collection systems
• follow FDCPA and other legal requirements
• maintain confidentiality of sensitive personal and protected health information
• complete company collector training and obtain Professional Collections Specialist certification within one year of hire.

Why this role

Fully remote role restricted to residents of the listed states, with a private home office requirement. After training, the schedule is full-time days; later, high-performing representatives may transition to a revised Monday–Friday schedule with two evening shifts and every other Friday off. Additional schedule options, including Saturdays, may become available.
