Expressive Arts Therapist — Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

The Expressive Arts Therapist — Child and Adolescent Psychiatry role is onsite in Cleveland, OH. Compensation starts at $22 per hour. The role supports Bluestone’s psychiatric care for children ages 6–17 in its 12-bed facility. As part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the therapist assesses patients, contributes to treatment planning, and facilitates therapeutic recreation and activities. The work supports patients’ physical, social, and emotional well-being and helps them work toward care-plan objectives.

What you'll do

• Conduct initial patient assessments, reassessments, and specialized screeners
• create and revise plans of care
• plan and facilitate individual and group recreation activities, including activities for weekends and holidays
• document patient progress and responses
• communicate relevant mental-status and behavioral information to the care team and community providers
• support patient and family needs and safety.
