What you'll do

• Operate manual milling machines, lathes, and grinders safely to produce quality parts and meet production expectations
• work with quality control on first-piece approval and in-process inspection plans
• coordinate with programmers and engineers on technical issues
• document work in inspection plans and the ERP system
• maintain a clean, organized work area
• communicate production, safety, and quality concerns
• use calibrated measuring equipment
• handle machines, inspection equipment, and parts carefully
• assist other departments with tasks such as assembly, cleaning, CNC machining, tool management, or inspection when needed.
