The Part-Time Faculty – Ballet, Southeast Campus (THEARC) role is onsite at THEARC in Washington, DC. Compensation is $53–$65 per hour. The Washington Ballet’s school provides dance training and community engagement through its campus programs. The faculty member teaches ballet technique to children ages 2–10, follows the school curriculum, choreographs for class presentations or performances, and writes student evaluations. What you'll do

  • Teach Creative Dance and Pre-Ballet 1 through Level 2 classes
  • choreograph for Pre-Ballet 2 and 3 class presentations and/or Spring Performance for Level 1A and up
  • write student evaluations.
