Lead Water Technician

The Lead Water Technician role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA. Compensation is $26.50 per hour. The position supports residential and commercial water damage mitigation and structural drying projects for the client represented by Volarify. The technician leads field crews, assesses water damage, develops drying plans, and monitors equipment and moisture conditions. The role helps ensure restoration projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with IICRC standards while maintaining customer communication and project documentation.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise water mitigation technicians and field crews
• assess water damage and determine mitigation and drying procedures
• develop and implement structural drying plans
• perform moisture inspections, mapping, and daily monitoring
• set up and adjust drying equipment
• document project progress
• communicate with customers, management, adjusters, and other parties
• train and mentor junior technicians
• assist with emergency response when required.

Why this role
