The Shop Service Technician I role is onsite in Austin, TX, with pay of $15.28–$24.56 per hour. HOLT CAT’s shop team provides mechanical services to meet customer needs and departmental goals. Working under immediate supervision, the entry-level technician performs basic inspections, diagnoses, and repairs on diesel-powered heavy equipment and related components, while learning repair planning and parts processes and maintaining safe, orderly work areas.

What you'll do

• Perform basic inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of diesel-powered heavy equipment
• disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer specifications
• assist with rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining equipment
• communicate customer needs to shop management
• maintain work areas and complete repair documentation
• follow safety policies and work overtime as required.
