What you'll do

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus, including therapeutic meals
• follow standardized recipes and portion-control procedures
• verify resident meal trays
• use and teach proper food-handling techniques
• clean on schedule
• label and store food
• assist with receiving and storing supplies
• make and record menu substitutions
• meet meal and snack schedules
• report incidents and hazards
• recommend equipment and supply needs
• attend scheduled meetings and in-services
• supervise the Dietary Department when the supervisor is absent.
