Registered Nurse – Hospice

What you'll do

• Assess and reassess hospice patients’ nursing needs
• provide dietary counseling, nursing services, treatments, and preventive procedures
• observe and report changes to physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• teach and counsel patients and families
• supervise and train nursing personnel
• develop and reevaluate care plans with the team
• perform ordered procedures and symptom management
• attend team conferences
• maintain records and confidentiality
• participate in the on-call system and provide coverage when unavailable for assigned duties
• coordinate care in specified facility settings
• follow infection-control policies.
