This role supports the newly established data center power generation vertical at Ingersoll Rand. The role exists to design and launch a new line of large-scale, containerized power generation solutions. The engineer will shape the mechanical architecture, product platform, and manufacturing strategy, ensuring that complex systems meet customer requirements for uptime and cooling continuity.

What you'll do

• Design containerized and modular power generation solutions.
• Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation using CAD software.
• Perform engineering calculations for structural integrity, airflow, and thermal management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing readiness and commercialization.
