The Direct Support Professional, Residential role is onsite in Rochester, NY. The part-time schedule is 24 hours per week: Wednesday and Saturday, 4–10:30 p.m.; Thursday, 4–9 p.m.; and Sunday, 3–9 p.m. The starting wage is $21.55 per hour. The role is part of Lifetime Assistance’s Residential Services department, supporting its mission to foster independence, dignity, and respect for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The professional provides daily living support and personal care while helping individuals build independence and participate in community life. The role also supports health and safety, follows individualized service plans, and documents progress.

What you'll do

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• support independence, self-help, and social skills
• promote health and safety, including medication administration if certified
• implement and document individualized service plans
• encourage community integration and recreation
• drive agency vehicles as needed
• communicate with individuals, families, and colleagues
• complete required training and development.
