Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist role is onsite in Syracuse, NY. Pay is $65,000–$75,000 per year. The role supports the Syracuse division and a team of approximately 50 employees at Seal & Design, a family-owned company. The generalist manages daily HR functions and serves as a partner to employees and leadership across the employee lifecycle, supporting a positive workplace through recruiting, payroll, employee relations, development, wellness, safety, and compliance.

What you'll do

• Administer onboarding, benefits, leave management, performance management, and employee relations
• participate in interviews and hiring
• maintain employee records in the HRIS
• monitor time and attendance and process weekly payroll
• respond to HR, benefits, and payroll inquiries
• assist with training
• oversee performance reviews
• support wellness and safety initiatives
• maintain confidentiality and support employment-law compliance.
