Project Engineer — New Product Introduction

Job overview

The Project Engineer role is onsite in Loveland, CO, with annual compensation of $70,000–$80,000. The position supports Clayens US LLC’s manufacturing projects, including new product introduction, tooling development, and production launches. The engineer coordinates cross-functional teams and customer and supplier activities to move projects from concept through production. The role helps deliver launches safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with customer and company requirements while supporting quality and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Lead projects through quotation support, planning, design review, tooling development, validation, launch, and production release
• maintain timelines, budgets, milestones, and resource plans
• coordinate cross-functional work
• monitor performance, risks, and recovery plans
• manage engineering changes
• track project KPIs
• serve as technical contact for customers
• coordinate tooling suppliers and vendors
• lead NPI, APQP, and PPAP activities
• support prototypes, validation, and manufacturing readiness
• resolve launch and production issues
• lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement
• assist with proposals, cost estimates, and value engineering.
