The Audio Visual Service Technician — Biamp Vocia Systems role is an onsite, full-time position in Ken Caryl, CO. Compensation is $30–$45 per hour, depending on relevant education, experience, and other factors. The technician supports mission-critical paging and life-safety systems, as well as integrated AV systems, in government and enterprise environments. The role maintains system uptime, intelligibility, and compliance through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, configuration, and documentation. It also supports engineering and programming teams in improving system optimization and long-term reliability.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on Biamp Vocia systems
• conduct health checks, fault-log reviews, redundancy verification, and firmware audits
• validate paging intelligibility, zone coverage, priority logic, and failover
• prepare SMA reports
• troubleshoot paging, AV control, DSP, and networked AV issues
• support emergency paging incidents
• make Vocia configuration changes and firmware updates
• assist engineering and programming teams with optimization
• document service work and communicate with client IT, facilities, and public-safety stakeholders
• identify risks and upgrade needs
• follow site safety protocols and manufacturer practices.

Why this role

Requires 3+ years supporting Biamp Vocia systems in government environments, Biamp Vocia certification, and AVIXA CTS.
