What you'll do

• Follow operating procedures and safety rules
• inspect safety equipment
• prepare machinery
• maintain plant operation records and logs
• operate valves and pumps to move products between tanks
• monitor temperatures, pH, processing and transfer times
• take and maintain product samples
• load and unload trailers and rail cars
• operate a shag tractor to spot trailers
• perform assigned housekeeping.

Why this role

The shift is 5 PM–5 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule; training is Monday–Friday, 2 PM–10 PM, Sunday–Thursday, for about three months before moving to the shift. The stated hourly range includes a $1.60 shift differential.
