The Project Engineer, Design-Build Building Systems role is onsite in West Sacramento, CA, with travel up to 80% based on project needs and possible temporary relocation. Compensation is $95,000–$120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The role supports Clark Pacific’s delivery of architectural and structural building systems from design and fabrication through installation. The engineer coordinates design, production, and field activities to deliver assigned project scopes safely and in line with schedule, cost, and quality requirements. The role also applies project management and document-control practices to resolve issues and meet contract commitments.

What you'll do

• Perform design-phase activities and prepare drawings
• oversee production-phase shop drawings, material procurement, casting schedules, and quality checks
• coordinate field erection activities, crane studies, shipping, and manpower
• monitor contract specifications, budgets, and schedules
• resolve and escalate project issues
• support project planning, safety, cost control, and scheduling.
