What you'll do

• Operate the electric arc furnace to melt and refine metal to production specifications
• monitor temperature, power, and other operating parameters
• perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• follow safety procedures and environmental requirements
• record and report production data and furnace performance
• collaborate with team members to meet production targets
• assist with training new operators and provide guidance as needed.
