The technician inspects, tests, services, and repairs commercial fire alarm systems to help customers maintain compliant, functioning life-safety systems. The role also responds to service requests and documents inspection and repair work.

What you'll do

• Test and inspect fire alarm systems in commercial buildings
• respond to service requests
• diagnose malfunctions and adjust, repair, or replace equipment to bring systems into compliance
• perform testing and inspection according to NFPA and local code standards
• prepare timely inspection and service reports
• participate in scheduled on-call rotation.
