The Operations Supervisor – Cleaning & Sterilization – 3rd Shift role is onsite in Vandalia, OH. Compensation is $63,030–$78,786 per year, with shift differential pay eligibility and annual bonus eligibility. Axogen’s business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by supporting restoration of peripheral nerve function. The supervisor leads shop-floor personnel in the Axogen Processing Center operation and helps ensure production schedules, safety, and quality requirements are met. The role supports patient safety and product quality by overseeing regulated production and support activities, maintaining procedures, and developing the team.

What you'll do

• Supervise employees and contractors engaged in production and support functions for tissue biologic products in compliance with cGMP and applicable regulations
• manage daily operations and ensure safety guidelines, production SOPs, and schedules are followed
• communicate policy and process changes
• resolve workplace issues
• assess and record training
• assist with staffing decisions alongside senior leaders and HR
• recommend process improvements
• conduct one-on-one meetings and support employee development
• cover the assigned call schedule, including holidays.

Why this role

Third shift is 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning. Requires a high school diploma and 3+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; FDA-regulated experience is preferred. The role must cover an assigned call schedule.
