Medication Aide (MA40) — PRN, Prairie Commons

The PRN Medication Aide (MA40) role is onsite at Eventide Prairie Commons in Grand Island, NE. Pay is $19.00–$21.28 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location; shift premiums and differentials may be available for select positions. Eventide Prairie Commons provides senior and client care. The aide supports residents’ daily living needs and follows each person’s care or service plan. Under RN direction and within the MA40 scope of practice, the role also prepares and administers medications and treatments as ordered by a physician.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transfers, ambulation, and continence
• support admissions, discharges, transfers, and new-employee orientation
• complete required documentation
• follow individual care plans and safeguard protected health information
• prepare and administer medications and treatments under RN direction within MA40 scope.
