What you'll do

• Assist the DON/ADON in directing daily nursing activities
• help maintain nursing policies and procedures
• report on department operations
• coordinate nursing with other resident services
• support quality assurance and facility surveys
• participate in resident discharge planning
• admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
• complete administrative records
• ensure adequate nursing and CNA staffing
• coordinate assignments and admissions
• provide direct nursing care as needed
• monitor safety and supplies
• participate in an on-call rotation.
