The role supports clinic operations across Mille Lacs Health System clinics. The Clinical Assistant helps maintain patient care and clinic workflow under the clinic manager’s direct supervision. The work combines patient rooming and clinical procedures with documentation, coordination, and reception tasks to support care across age groups.

What you'll do

• Room patients and record measurements and encounter documentation
• administer and document oral and injectable medications and vaccinations
• route refill requests
• schedule appointments, verify insurance, coordinate referrals and prior authorizations, and manage supplies. Perform and document phlebotomy, EKGs, and waived lab testing
• assist providers with diagnostic testing and referrals
• collect quality initiative data
• support students, externs, and new staff.
