Maintenance Technician — Robotics R&D Laboratory

The Maintenance Technician — Robotics R&D Laboratory role is onsite in San Francisco, CA. Pay is $25–$35 per hour, possibly more depending on experience. The technician supports OSARO’s Robotics R&D Laboratory and works with research and software engineers. The role exists to keep experimental and development equipment operational and to improve the standardization and integration of industrial controls systems. It contributes through troubleshooting, testing, preventive maintenance, safety practices, and documentation for OSARO’s robotics automation work.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• test experimental hardware with engineering teams and researchers
• assist with safety practices
• document standardized installation and commissioning procedures for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components
• schedule and perform preventive maintenance on robots and control systems
• maintain issue-resolution records and parts usage.
