The Part-Time Swim Instructor role is onsite at the listed LA Fitness Altamonte Springs and EOS Fitness Hiawassee locations in Florida, with compensation of $16–$18 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM–8:00 PM, and Saturdays, 8:30 AM–2:30 PM. British Swim School’s mission is to help prevent drowning by teaching water-survival skills and swimming. The instructor teaches lessons to children and adults, follows the school’s progressive program and safety protocols, communicates with students and families, and records attendance and progress. The role also involves lesson planning with the team, maintaining required certifications, and remaining in the water throughout the shift.

What you'll do

• Teach swim lessons according to British Swim School standards
• lead lessons for swimmers of all ages and skill levels
• follow safety protocols, including AED operation and emergency procedures
• communicate with students and families
• collaborate on lesson planning
• maintain attendance and progress records
• maintain required certifications.
