The engineer scopes and supports outside plant fiber projects, producing designs and documentation for underground, aerial, and buried cable. The role coordinates with customers, vendors, and project stakeholders to keep multiple projects organized and on schedule.

What you'll do

• Scope outside plant projects
• design, provision, and document fiber optic cable routes for underground, aerial, and buried installations
• understand manhole and conduit design
• read work prints from drafting systems such as AutoCAD and ARAMIS
• take field notes and transfer them into KMZ files
• understand pole loading and right-of-way permit needs
• manage multiple projects and track due dates
• communicate with customers and vendors.
