What you'll do

• Provide continuous bedside presence and supervision during overnight shifts
• monitor patient condition, behavior and environment
• report significant changes to the on-call nurse
• assist with repositioning, toileting, bathing, hygiene and dressing as assigned
• observe and document condition, sleep patterns and behaviors
• take and record vital signs when ordered and within competency
• support families and caregivers
• use patient equipment safely
• assist with ambulation and range of motion as directed.
