The Teacher at Delmar Elementary is an onsite role located in Delmar, MD, with compensation ranging from $15.00 to $20.25 per hour. This position supports the Champions program, providing care for elementary-aged children during out-of-school time on school grounds. This role exists to lead, coach, and mentor classroom staff while implementing the KinderCare curriculum. The Teacher creates a safe, nurturing environment and partners with parents and school administrators to provide the best care and education for students.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom
• model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success
• partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
