Job overview

The Direct Support Specialist role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, and pays $18.47–$23.00 per hour. What you'll do

  • Work with groups of one to three individuals in community settings to build vocational, social, and behavioral skills. Plan curriculum, lessons, outings, and recreational activities
  • supervise and support individuals at learning sites, job sites, in the community, or at residences
  • develop and implement Individual Service Plans
  • assess skills and document progress
  • collect support-plan data
  • implement positive behavioral supports
  • attend support-team meetings
  • and use required crisis-management strategies.
