Support Center Engineer IV

Job overview

The Support Center Engineer IV role is hybrid near Saratoga Springs, NY, with three days onsite each week. Pay is $105,000–$120,000 per year. The role supports a growing client’s support organization and its customers. As the senior technical escalation point, this engineer leads responses to major incidents, identifies root causes, and improves monitoring and prevention. The role also guides new customers through their initial period, mentors engineers, and strengthens support processes and technical solutions.

What you'll do

• Handle the toughest escalations from the first three support tiers
• lead the technical response to major incidents and service disruptions
• participate in an on-call rotation as senior responder
• investigate root causes and define preventive fixes
• improve monitoring and alerting
• support new customers from go-live through roughly 90 days
• mentor engineers, deliver training, review escalated tickets, and develop runbooks, knowledge articles, and automation
• contribute to presales technical discussions and customer escalations.
