The Medical Assistant, Workforce Health and Safety role is onsite in Seattle, WA. Compensation is $27.17–$40.75 per hour. The position supports clinic operations and fit testing across Seattle Children's Workforce Health and Safety service locations. The role exists to provide patient procedures and clinical support while helping maintain clinic flow and workforce health services. It contributes through patient-facing tasks, clinic administration, vaccine and clinic supply upkeep, and fit testing at regional locations.

What you'll do

• Perform patient procedures, treatments, and tests
• schedule, register, and check in patients
• triage telephone calls
• collect or update demographic information
• prepare charts
• maintain clinic and vaccine supplies
• draw blood
• administer medication
• perform fit testing and maintain fit-testing equipment
• assist with clinic operations and flow
• travel to regional locations for fit testing
• routinely wear a respirator for up to eight hours a day.

Why this role

Requires current Washington Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified designation, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, and a valid driver's license. Some travel is required.
