What you'll do

• Operate excavators, trenchers, directional bore machines, backhoes, front-end loaders, and skid steers as assigned
• help install and replace underground utilities
• identify potential problems and implement solutions
• follow company and OSHA safety procedures
• troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• prepare equipment before mobilization and maintain it for daily operations
• load and secure materials and equipment for transport
• participate in job hazard analyses
• secure work sites and materials
• complete project and safety paperwork
• perform laborer duties when required
• travel frequently within the area for assignments.
