Principal Network Engineer III — Cisco, Top Secret

The Principal Network Engineer III role is hybrid, with four days per week in Pocatello, ID. The stated salary range is $114,000–$125,000 per year. The role maintains secure, available, and resilient networks and provides advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance to support mission operations.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and support networking infrastructure within and between data centers
• configure LAN, WAN, VLAN, SDN, firewalls, and load balancers
• provision networking for servers, applications, and cloud services
• improve information security
• monitor and troubleshoot network issues and performance
• maintain recovery, security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• develop automation scripts
• provide final-tier support
• maintain technical documentation and performance reporting
• train government staff.
