Assembly Technician – Medical Instruments

The Assembly Technician – Medical Instruments role is onsite in Marquette, MI, and pays $16.70–$27.03 per hour across levels. The position supports Exalta’s goal of increasing the number of patients served while maintaining quality and safety. The technician assembles implants and instruments to specifications, documents inventory and packaging, inspects completed units, and maintains tools and a clean, safe work area. The schedule is Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM; training may occur on first shift, Monday–Thursday.

What you'll do

• Follow blueprints and work instructions for implant and instrument assembly
• document inventory use and packaging
• assemble instruments
• perform cable welding, cutting, orbit forming, and laser etching as applicable
• label, document, and package products
• inspect and test completed units using precision instruments
• maintain tools and support cycle counts
• keep the work area clean and safe.
