Structural Design Technician

Job overview

The Structural Design Technician role is hybrid in Phoenix, AZ, with at least two days per week in the office and additional onsite requirements based on project needs; compensation is not specified. The technician develops models and construction documentation and coordinates design packages with engineers and other disciplines, helping ensure deliverables are accurate, constructible, and aligned with project standards and schedules.

What you'll do

• Develop detailed 3D structural models
• produce structural plans, details, and construction-ready documentation
• apply design standards
• review models and documents for accuracy, constructability, and compliance
• coordinate with engineering and other disciplines
• participate in model reviews and resolve conflicts
• support clash detection
• assist team members
• lead small design packages and reviews
• coordinate assignments and monitor progress.

Why this role
