What you'll do

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to orders and protocols
• verify patient identity, examination orders, and clinical information
• position patients and operate radiographic equipment
• prepare and administer contrast agents as directed under physician supervision
• review images for quality and completeness and obtain additional images when needed
• follow radiation safety and infection-prevention standards
• document examinations and maintain equipment and work areas.
