Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is onsite in Rolling Meadows, IL, with compensation of $20–$25 per hour. ALC Health Care Services provides home services, and the caregiver works under a Home Services Coordinator to support client comfort and safety at home. The caregiver assists with daily living, personal care, companionship, household tasks, and medication reminders within the assignment’s limits. The role also documents care and observations and communicates with supervisors and the interdisciplinary team.

What you'll do

• Follow the written Plan of Care and document tasks
• observe client functioning and report changes
• assist with activities of daily living and personal care
• provide companionship, socialization, and housekeeping
• provide medication reminders through prompts or assistance with marked containers
• assist with meal planning, food purchasing, and preparation
• perform errands, laundry, vacuuming, dusting, and changing bed linens
• follow infection-control practices and communicate with supervisory staff and the interdisciplinary team.
