What you'll do

• Issue, receive, and track tools, equipment, and supplies
• maintain issuance, return, and inventory records
• inspect tools and remove unsafe items from service
• clean, label, organize, and store tools
• coordinate repair, calibration, replacement, and replenishment
• monitor inventory and report shortages
• enforce sign-out procedures
• listen for unusual machine sounds and discuss variations with supervisors or maintenance workers
• assist employees in identifying tools
• maintain a safe tool crib and follow safety and PPE requirements.
