What you'll do

• Greet patients and caregivers and enter information into a computer database
• record insurance information and obtain pre-approval when needed
• relay updates between patients and staff
• prioritize care so the most critical patients are seen first
• maintain paper and electronic medical records
• provide information to insurers for billing
• assist with checkout and post-treatment instructions
• calculate payments, accept funds, and credit accounts.
