What you'll do

• Oversee full-cycle payroll processing for employees across multiple states and schedules
• ensure compliance with wage-and-hour laws, tax regulations, garnishments, and reporting requirements
• review payroll audits, variance analyses, off-cycle payrolls, and year-end activities
• establish payroll policies, procedures, and controls
• resolve complex payroll issues
• own payroll system configuration, maintenance, integrations, and audits
• lead or support implementations, acquisitions, conversions, testing, and go-live activities
• manage payroll projects and process improvements
• collaborate with HR, Finance, Benefits, IT, and vendors
• manage, coach, and develop payroll staff.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, HR, or a related field, or equivalent experience; 7+ years of progressive payroll experience including multi-state payroll; payroll system implementation and configuration experience; and strong compliance and project management knowledge. Certified Payroll Professional certification is preferred.
