Early Childhood Consultant

The Early Childhood Consultant role is onsite in Corbin, KY. Compensation is not specified. The consultant serves as a regional expert on early childhood social, emotional, developmental, and mental health issues affecting substance-exposed infants and pregnant or parenting women who use substances or are at risk of substance use. The role oversees a consulting program and provides assessment-based clinical interventions, treatment planning, consultation, education, training, technical assistance, coaching, and outreach. It contributes to effective, compliant services and supports clients through coordinated work with a multidisciplinary community mental health team.

What you'll do

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the consulting program
• support policies and procedures for licensing and accreditation
• monitor program productivity, effectiveness, revenues, and expenditures
• assess clients and determine clinical interventions
• implement treatment plans
• maintain complete client files and timely services
• provide consultations, referrals, education, training, technical assistance, coaching, and outreach
• respond to emergencies and collaborate with team members.

Why this role

Requires a master’s degree in a related field and two years of experience with children from birth through age five. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; evening and weekend hours may be required.
