What you'll do

• Design structural components for transportation projects
• coordinate work with engineers, technicians, and multidisciplinary teams
• review shop drawings
• lead bridge and civil-structure projects
• work with clients on bridge and box culvert design, spillways, retaining walls, tunnels, park structures, treatment-plant tanks, and riverfront developments.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field; four or more years of structural engineering experience; and an Iowa Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one within 12 months. Iowa DOT experience is a plus. The employer cannot provide visa sponsorship.
