What you'll do

• Lead assigned teams in patient service
• provide operational leadership for office visits and in-office surgical procedures
• oversee medication and refill submissions
• ensure timely visual field, biometry, refraction, OCT, and topography testing
• ensure accurate EHR documentation
• oversee patient communication about follow-up care and procedures
• maintain sanitary equipment use
• assist with training, development, and evaluations
• manage prior authorizations, refills, physician schedules, and referral correspondence
• advise on staffing
• enforce HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years leading an ophthalmology clinical team, and five years of EMR and medical documentation experience. COA or COT certification and PACS experience are preferred. Overtime may be required as needed.
